It's hard to believe our time in Nice has come to an end. Our talent show this year was filled with singing, dancing, skits and roasts. Everyone did a wonderful job!
Karaoke Night
On Wednesday night the group showcased our singing talents at Cassa Nissa a local karaoke hangout. We got to hear everything from Sinatra to Queen and everything in between.
L'anniversaire d'Amelia
Today after we got back from Saint Tropez we celebrated Amelia 15th birthday with 4 different types of cake including a Speculos flavored one.
Saint Tropez
Today the SLDV and Nice groups traveled first to Cannes were to took a boat to Saint Tropez. We spent the day shopping and relaxing on the beach hoping to spot of few celebrities.
Musee Matisse
This week our French classes went to Musee Matisse to see some of the large collection of contemporary works housed there.
Saint Paul de Vence
Today we went up into the surrounding mountains to visit the small walled village of Saint Paul de Vence. There we visited the Maight art museum and toured the village.
Au Vieux Four
On Saturday night we joined forces with the Saint Laurent du Var group and spent the afternoon in the small Italian village of San Remo. Afterwards we went to dinner together at Au Vieux Four for homemade pizzas and lasagna.
Crepe Night
On Thursday the group cooked dinner at L'hotel Fregate. We prepared shrimp and avocado salad, roast chicken and potatoes and we learned to make crepes for dessert.
French class in the park
On Wednesday our French classes were in Castels des Deux Rois just up the street. We wrote and rehearsed fairy tales about our Abbey Road adventures.
On fait du bowling!
This week we went to the local bowling alley to test out our skills. Carrie ended up winning but we all had a good time.
